FTP copy files from WinNT to Linux

Assume the IP of the Linux machine is 192.168.1.2
Assume there is a user 'ABCD', not 'root' ! remote 'root' is disabled
On the NT machine open a cmd window with : start, run, 'cmd' ok
ftp 192.168.1.2 asks for username/password, enter ABCD/...
bin enters binary mode.
put myfile.exe copies the mentioned file to '/home/ABCD'
